Description

Wyoming should not be overlooked for a whitetail deer state, and every year this outfitter takes some beautiful bucks. Only a few hunters hunt these areas and the success rate is very high. These hunts take place on private ranches on the east slope of the Big Horn mountains. Hunters should expect to take home a great buck. This is a 4 day hunt for one hunter. More hunters join for additional cost.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunters will stay in comfortable accommodations nearby at the Wagon Box Inn in Story, Wyoming. Accommodations include hot showers and clean beds. Hearty meals are served in the dining room at the lodge. Accommodations vary on moose and other mountain game hunts...from tent camps to lodges. Please ask for specifics when booking these hunts.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

Outfitter suggests its best to fly into Denver, Colorado and rent a car and drive to lodge. This is roughly a 6 hour drive. Other options are to fly to Rapid City, South Dakota and rent a car to drive. This is about a 3 hour drive. Billings airport can be a challenge to fly into as other hunters have lost had lost luggage or canceled flights.

Description

Hunter should be prepared to do some moderate hiking. Better physical condition will provide more opportunity for bigger bucks. Nearly 100% success rate on these hunts for big bucks. Pack moderate to warm hunting clothing. Layering systems recommended.
