Description

The price listed is for AZ Fully Outfitted Kaibab (12A east and west &12B west only) Mule Deer Hunt, 7 days. This is for Draw hunters who are looking for a guide. 12A and 12B are highly productive units for trophy mule deer and typically take anywhere from 9 - 20+ points to draw depending on your weapon choice, unit specification, and season dates. Season dates are as follows - Archery season: mid-August to early September, Muzzleloader: early November to mid-November, and Rifle: mid-October to late October and mid-November to end of November. 12B is either valid for the entire unit or the western portion of the unit only and must be specified on the application. 12A can be valid for either the western or eastern portion of the unit. Hunts do not include your tag and license. The application period for deer typically opens early May and closes second Tuesday in June each year.

We also offer a 7 day "Guide Only" option or a "Scouting Package" only as well for Mule Deer on the Kaibab in Arizona. Extra Day's and Extra Spotters can be arranged with the outfitter. Hunts do not include your tag and license. An annual license is required to apply (appx. $160) or purchase a bonus point only. The annual license is nonrefundable if not drawn. The cost to apply or to purchase a point only is about $15, and if you are drawn the remaining license fees for the deer tag are paid (appx. $315). If you are applying for the draw, an additional $10 - $25 fee for "PointGuard" is expected for purchase. PointGuard ensures your points are preserved should you be drawn and have to return your tag for any reason. This is recommended!

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Foil type. Cell phone or satellite phone – handheld, Iridium or Globalstar w/extra battery and charger in some locations Water Filter or Water Purification Tablets or Liquid Small notepad and pencil/pen Specialty foods/snacks/jerky/gum or other food you enjoy.
