Pronghorn Antelope aka Speed Goats are as fast as they come in North America. They keep up with the traffic frequenting a local highway with the speed limit being 65 mph! Water holes, trail cams, and scouting definitely give us solid intel into making a game plan that will hopefully present the best shot opportunity. They take pride in the challenge of spot and stalking antelope with archery equipment as well. The area averages 70" goats and have been fortunate to kill upper 70's to lower and mid 80's. Archery tags are over the counter. All hunters are required to have successfully completed hunters education unless born before January 1, 1949. August 15-31 Buck onlys(Archery). September 1-20 Either Sex(Archery). Rifle antelope hunting is also a great hunt that we offer (Oct 3-11). The rifle tags are issued through draw results based upon preference points. This is a trophy unit where hunters often need to accumulate 3 or more preference points to have a solid chance at drawing a rifle antelope tag.
